Hey just a few renders that I liked finishing out the scenes for this update.
For the tens of you that may care, a few weeks ago patreon took down my creator account for the reason of violating their guidelines. After a bit (or a lot) of prodding, they were generous enough to let me know the reason. For all the reasons why I thought my account would get flagged I was a little shocked that:
For one, they claimed I violated a guideline that isn't even listed in their publicly listed community guidelines. Nor it's even adjacent to anything listed there.
And two, the reason was for somnophilia which is - engaging in sexual activity with a sleeping or unconscious person. Which my game, in the past or present, does not contain nor allude to any physical sexual activity with anyone that is sleeping or unconscious (the worst my game has is pulling the sheet off of someone sleeping).
So patreon took down my creator account for violating a guideline that doesn't exist and for a reason that does not exist in my game.
Fun.
Regardless, while I am communicating with patreon to get allowed back on, I think ultimately this is a good time to rebrand or to have a fresh start. What I mean by that is that the majority of the criticism my game gets is from things that do no exist anymore in my game. I see many replies on forums for my game of people reading the comments and thinking my game is 90% NTR and animal abuse. Because they see my game go "Oh interesting, lets see what its about." and see pages and pages of people complaining about NTR and go "This game appears to be just NTR, I am not interesting but I will make sure to leave a comment letting the dev know my dislike for NTR and that I will pass on his game." Its not only that, I did have some growing pains that I have worked on and fixed for my game over time but I still have to tell people that its been fixed a long time ago since they are reading old comments. It happens over and over and over.
Its not that I'm burned out or anything, quite the opposite actually, I have a notebook full of future ideas to add but renders have been currently going slow. Not only have I made incredibly inefficient scenes that take ages to render but also work has been adding on additional trainings for us all month and its quite possible I might lose my near-minimum wage job so that can be something fun to look forward to. Its been too exhausting to sit down and script everything out atm.
So anywho, obviously the best solution to having stress and also pending doom is alcohol. Let it be another days worry :D
If you happen to have read this far, let me know your idea or take on the 'rebranding' idea. Still going to be the same game, but I think 3YoV is too alien sounding and I think setting up brand new patreon, itch.io, ect with 30 Year old Virgin as the more official game name or something I dunno. I'm just saying random shit at this point. Let me know what you think?

Looking at that subscribestar page the Dev is only adding more NTR, not removing it. Now its NTR with a dog not a cat. "Hey guys im removing one NTR scene only to add another in the same update, will you play my game now?" No idiot theres still NTR.
Everyone's definition of NTR is wildly different. I'm using the traditional sense of the word when I say there is no NTR. Having your type of exceptionally broad definition of the word there would be little porn available and honestly all around less fun or interesting.
I can't fathom how you type's exist in the world if anything and everything sends you in to the fetal position crying (especially more so when its completely avoidable. Like seriously?). But hey, if you want to pointlessly complain then I would encourage you to make your own game, in your own style in the ways you want. You don't like my game? Cool, just play a different game. Not sure why I have 50 people complaining about something that doesn't exist.
I'm actually rather miserable that people are pissy about about the game, I quite enjoyed it.. as well as the multitude of amazing Easter-eggs and nods to some of my favorite universes. I do hope you reconsider, and I'm sorry life seems to be such a drag lately. I'm in a very similar boat.. Anyways, take what some of these folks say with a grain of salt. Everyone has an opinion. I don't enjoy every kink included in the game, I just simply skip forward without paying attention during the scene.
I also have to say, people are getting dismembered and the thing that pisses people off the most is cheating.. Talk about a disregard for priorities..
Just remove the NTR fully, scrub it from the game. If its skippable its not that important to the story, and its only one scene. You should probably get rid of the cuck shota scenes too
Thats actually the plan and I have currently remade all the scenes to replace it.
What cuck shota scenes are you referring to? The ones with Rita? I haven't made those yet.
Yes, those if you are planning for her to be a romance option at all down the line. Probably as well as your skeletons. Removing the one scene in question just to add more is gonning to put you full circle
Just found this game and haven't actually played it yet, but I've seen that kind of "rebranding" backfire before - there's a certain type of person that goes "aha, that devious [liker of things I don't like] is trying to conceal their knavery, I will go into the comments of the new thing and warn everyone."
(Tangential linguistic pedantry: My only gripe with the "3YoV" title is that you tried to abbreviate "30" to "3," and numbers don't abbreviate like that, so it reads like "3-year-old virgin." Also, either both the Y and O should be capitalized, or neither - lowercase letters in abbreviations are usually reserved for prepositions, so it actually reads like "3 Years of Virgin." Which is definitely an improvement on "3-year-old virgin," but still not quite what you're looking for.)
Maybe make a new version titled "30 Year Old Virgin: NTR-Free Edition," put in a description that talks about how you've heard the feedback and removed all the NTR, and just have it be the same game?

The abbreviation choice does come up here and there. I did it that way solely because I like the way how 3YoV looks, ignore if you could read English, it makes its own design in a way. If that makes sense. 30Yov just doesn't have the same pizazz to me.
As for the rebranding statement, I my self don't recall knowing of any other lewd game doing something like that. I know there are a ton of 'enhanced editions' and what-nots but thats because they are re-rendering all their art (which is something I absolutely hate, since they are now spending all their time not making new content).
As for adding the 'ntr free editon' I think is a bit much since it was just one single scene that is skippable. It may sound like I'm joking or exaggerating but if/when you play the game you will see. 80% of any forum for my game is talking about ntr, its absurd. In a way, you do prove my concern on the issue. You are someone with fresh eyes that hasn't played my game but your impression is that a great proportion of the game is ntr so if you were someone that doesn't enjoy that, you will see the comments and say naw, its not for me.
The rebranding idea isn't about just changing the name and hoping everyone forgets, I've all ready remade a new scene to replace the one-singular scene that has been causing all this mess. Even with that scene removed I am still dealing with a scorched earth issue that all those comments are complaining about ntr.

I don't know if there are any adult games specifically that tried that - the examples I'm familiar with are mostly things like fanfic and fan art, in the context of some very toxic internet spaces. Itch probably isn't as bad, but I recognize some of the same patterns happening in your comment sections.
My impression as a total newcomer is actually just what you describe - that the comment section ended up path-locked by people early on yelling about NTR, and none of them updated their models when you actually changed the game. But I'm an outlier who actually reads all the evidence before starting to form an opinion.
The "NTR-Free Edition" really was my rebranding suggestion - cut off the mess and start fresh, while making clear that you did hear the complaints and change the game in response. You wouldn't need to change anything about the actual game, because (as you pointed out) you already made that change.

Haha you would think that but just one day after I posted complaining about all the pointless ntr complaints, I literally get some guy screaming about ntr.
